This is one of my favorite things so far. I used “bleeding ink” to paint this picture.
I used hand sanitizer to do it, but I’m sure any alcohol-based thing can do it. I also used cheap Wal-Mart brushes, I don’t recommend using artist brushes with alcohol-based liquids, I can immagine your bristles will not love you.Water alone does not cause the ink to “bleed” like this, the paper is simply light gray cardstock, also from Wal-Mart. I got a pack of 50 sheets for $2.
Pencil lines don’t bleed, so if you want a sketchy look, leave ‘em in like I did. The ink-bled effect is a lot more obvious in person but scanners tend to rob quality so what can you do. Here’s a photo of it I took with my phone. I would like to do one of these to mail to someone someday!
I REALLY LIKE THIS CRITTER and your inkly ways
the tail is my favie
A 26-year-old student was forced to drop out of college because the college’s Chancellor removed all support of her allergy, including the “No Peanuts” signs posted on the classrooms she was enrolled in.
See the whole infuriating story on her personal blog. Even an interview on her local news station did very little to spread the word of just how remarkably awful the decision on the school’s part was, not only on the student’s safety, but on her rights as a student.
Anaphylaxis, a severe reaction to an allergy, is an ADA disability which by law guarantees equal access.
Hey guys! I’d really appreciate if you take a moment to read this story, it involves a very good friend of mine’s sister and how her university mistreated her and treated her allergy as a liability instead of working with her to make her experience on campus a safe one.
Many people don’t realize how serious food allergies can be- even if you do not have the time to read her story, maybe think a second time before taking peanuts or peanut butter out in a public place; it may very well keep someone out of the emergency room!
Commission for Burbled of their character Shen! Thanks again! :)
I’m a bit exhausted at the moment, so I’ve been slow getting to notes and emails since yesterday, gonna try to catch up tonight! Sorry if you’re waiting on a response from me. ;-;
Ahaaaa!! This is one of my favorite commissioned pieces I’ve gotten! Thank you again Sam ヽ(;▽;)ノ

remember when I was like… 12 and all I knew about anime/manga magical girls was learned from dumb Christopher Hart how-to-draw books?
because yeah that’s still pretty much my knowledge on the subject to this day
I’m going to take Mimsy home and no one can stop me what a cute magical girl she is
I GUESS YOU’RE CUTE TOO, PSAVINE
